Columbia College and Tarrant County College announce new features of partnership

COLUMBIA, Missouri (February 22, 2022) – Columbia College and Tarrant County College leadership recently announced some new features of their existing partnership. TCC employees, spouses and dependents at all six of its campuses in proximity of Fort Worth, Texas, are now eligible for a 15 percent discount on tuition to pursue their degree at Columbia College. Graduates of TCC are also now eligible to receive a 10 percent Associate Degree Transfer Grant when transferring to Columbia College.

“We are thrilled to strengthen our partnership with Tarrant County College and offer members of its community an affordable and convenient path towards completing their higher education aspirations,” said Senior Regional Director of Columbia College Jeannie Simmons.

TCC offers online courses for its current and prospective students. The institution serves more than 46,000 students and offers five types of transferrable degrees.

“On behalf of Tarrant County College District (TCCD), we are pleased to expand our 12-year partnership with Columbia College,” said TCC Coordinator of Articulation and Transfer Services Gaston White. “As advocates for student success for both current TCCD students and alumni, we hope students will be able to benefit from this expansion of our partnership with CC.

Columbia College offers six sessions lasting eight weeks each, allowing students to complete their degree quickly. Students can earn an associate degree in 20 months, a bachelor’s degree in three-and-a-half years, and a master’s degree in only 12 months. The college is very transfer-friendly and also features the Truition(r) program, which offers a transparent look at the cost of college by eliminating all fees and providing books at no cost.
