Columbia College to host Preview Day March 13

Event gives potential students and parents close -up look at college

COLUMBIA, Mo. (March 10, 2010) - Columbia College's Preview Day will be held Saturday, March 13 on the college's historic campus in Columbia, Mo. The event is a unique opportunity for potential students to tour the campus, visit with faculty members and even ask current students about their experiences.

Students and their parents may join in activities such as:

* Welcome and tours. All of Columbia College may be experienced during this comprehensive tour, which includes a walk-through of residence halls.

* Student panel. Participants may attend a question-and-answer session with current Columbia College students.

* Academic showcase. Participants may talk with professors about the many areas of study from which to choose.

* Campus life session. Participants may attend a session explaining residential living and the numerous athletic and social activities available on campus.

* Financial aid session. Participants may join in a question-and-answer session to learn more about institutional and federal financial aid.

Also included are a continental breakfast and a complimentary lunch. To find more information or to register online, go to www.ccis.edu/day/previewday. Once registration is received, students will be sent a confirmation packet with detailed information.
