The 2012 Nebraska Kindey Association's "Wine, Wisdom and Whimsy" to be held August 18

The 2012 Nebraska Kidney Association’s “Wine, Wisdom and Whimsy” will be held on Saturday, August 18th at the Bennington home of Linda Jacobsen and Butch Atherton. Dennis Hein, Partner of Seim Johnson and local wine expert , will conduct a formal tasting of several wines.
Guests will enjoy appetizers, desserts and a silent auction.

Kerry Heinrich, Integrated Marketing Director of H&A Media Group, is chair of the event, now in its fourth year.

Dennis Hein shares, “Wine, Wisdom and Whimsy is a fantastic event with great people, great wine and great food. It is a fun event and guests really enjoy the openness and free-style of the wine tasting and are very relaxed about asking questions. The funds help a worthy organization, so tasting wines can help save lives!”

Tickets are $50 each until August 1st, $60 beginning August 2nd and can be purchased on-line at www.kidneyne.org or by calling 800-642-1255.

Many who are stricken by the disease are unaware that they have it.
