Columbia College-Kansas City to hold commencement Sept. 22
KANSAS CITY, Mo. Sept. 22, 2012 - Columbia College-Kansas City, will recognize graduates at a commencement ceremony at 3 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 22, at the Holiday Inn CoCo Key Water Resort in Kansas City, Mo.
Terry Smith, executive vice president and dean for academic affairs, will give the commencement address and confer degrees; Mike Randerson, vice president, associate dean for adult higher education will provide remarks; and Norris Tanner '10, will provide the alumni charge.
Established in 1988 in Blue Springs, Columbia College-Kansas City moved to Independence in 1993. The campus relocated to the Blue Ridge Tower site in order to provide enhanced educational facilities and opportunities to the Kansas City area communities. Today, it continues to serve civilian and military adult learners in the Kansas City area..
