Minnesota FFA Foundation Receives $20,000 Grant from DuPont Pioneer
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind., Oct. 25, 2012 - DuPont Pioneer today presented a $20,000 education grant to the Minnesota FFA Foundation, which will be used for leadership development and agricultural education activities. The grant, which was presented to state leaders during the National FFA Convention & Expo in Indianapolis, is part of $80,000 in grants presented to state FFA foundations within the Pioneer Northern Business Unit, which includes Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin.
"We are grateful for the support of DuPont Pioneer as a partner in preparing the next generation of agriculturalists," said Val Aarsvold, executive director of the Minnesota FFA Foundation. "With the growing need for trained youth, FFA continues to provide programs that allow students to explore careers, while developing skills that allow them to be successful."

The Minnesota FFA Foundation serves more than 9,500 members, enrolled at 180 schools across the state. The Minnesota FFA Foundation mission is to provide resources that promote and enhance premier leadership, personal development and career success for Minnesota youth in Agricultural Education.
