Register Today for the Winter Iowa Games

AMES, Iowa - The 2013 Winter Iowa Games powered by the Iowa Food & Family Project will begin four weekends of competition on Jan. 25. Dubuque will play host to the majority of events, Jan. 25-27. Online registration and registration forms are available at www.IOWAGAMES.org.

The 2013 Winter Iowa Games will hold competitions in 23 sports. The 2013 Games will feature more than 4,000 athletes from across the state. As Iowa's premier winter sports festival, the Games will be held in 11 Iowa communities over the four-week period.

The 2012 Games set a new participation record of 4,202 athletes from across the state in 85 of Iowa's 99 counties.

New sports added to this year's docket include Pickleball in Cedar Rapids, Snowshoeing Race in Cedar Falls and a Zumba Fitness(r) workout in Dubuque.

Adult Men's Basketball, Dodgeball, Figure Skating, Fitness Walk, Adult Ice Hockey, Pickleball, Wheelchair Basketball
