DREAM TEAM DAY TO BE HELD IN AMES

Live Healthy Iowa to host pre-challenge meeting for all Dream Team members Jan. 19, 2013

AMES, Iowa - Jan. 14, 2013 - Live Healthy Iowa has invited all 10 chosen Dream Team members to the 'Dream Team Day' event held in Ames on January 19, 2013. The Dream Team will gather in the Club Room at the West Ames Hy-Vee where they will receive a pre-challenge health assessment from Iowa Health System's HeartReach Mobile Lab, a Hy-Vee store tour and nutrition education with Hy-Vee's Registered Dietitian, Laura Kimm, as well as goal setting and educational exercise sessions with the Dream Team Captain and owner of Voice for Fitness, Debra Atkinson.

Live Healthy Iowa created the Dream Team in hopes of gaining an inside perspective into the 10 Week Wellness Challenge. All Iowans were invited to apply and those selected for the Dream Team will share their struggles, strategies and successes to exemplify the benefits of living a positive, healthy lifestyle.

The 2013 Dream Team members are: Amber Graves of Dayton, Carolina Wilson of Waverly, Cindy Dilliner of Knoxville, Crystal Waterbury of Carroll, Jennifer Long of Mount Pleasant, Kim Hildebrand of Princeton, Peggy Steinbronn of Urbandale, Suzy Card of Pella, Tabitha Wiggins of Iowa City and Tyler Kubik of Newton.

Media outlets are invited to attend all aspects of the Dream Team Day from 10:30am - 3:30pm at the West Ames Hy-Vee Club Room, located at 3615 W. Lincoln Way.
