IOWANS ARE STRONG IN HEALTHY COMPETITION

The 10 Week Wellness Challenge is a simple and affordable challenge encouraging Iowans to make healthy choices. Over the course of 10 weeks, teams (2-10 people) take part in friendly competition tracking activity minutes and/or weight loss on their personal dashboard through the Live Healthy Iowa website.

Live Healthy Iowa Director Nicole Bruce comments, “It’s exciting to see so many Iowans engage in the challenge and take steps toward better health. We’re proud to offer this opportunity and look forward to encouraging participants to achieve their personal wellness goals.”

Registration fee is $20 per participant and each will receive a training T-shirt; one-year subscription to a lifestyle magazine; weekly motivational emails; personal tracking, goal setting, tools and resources; health and wellness discounts at businesses across the state; chance to win team incentives and individual prizes; and more.

The Live Healthy Iowa 10 Week Wellness Challenge works well for businesses, communities and organizations wanting to begin a wellness program or to simply enhance an existing wellness program.
