First Female Sports Radio Host To Go Solo Brings "Hey Tana! Time" To Market

Finalist on Trump's "The Apprentice", Tana Goertz, says, "It's time to take it up a notch."

DES MOINES, Iowa, Dec. 5, 2013 - Finalist on Donald Trump's "The Apprentice" and Iowa radio personality, Tana Goertz, brings her own show called "Hey Tana! Time" to the Des Moines airwaves on Thursday, Dec. 5 from 7-8 p.m. on KXnO 1460 AM sponsored by My People App.

Tana delivers her first two shows as a holiday soft launch Thursdays Dec. 5 and Dec. 19. Three weeks later on Jan. 9 of the new year "Hey Tana! Time" is launched officially into its regular weekly schedule every Thursday from 7-8 p.m. on 1460 AM KXnO. More information and updates are available at KXnO's "Hey Tana! Time" program pages. Executive Producer Greg Chance said, "We love Tana. She's been doing a 20 minute spot on the "Murph and Andy" show for over two years, and based on consistent feedback from listeners we know it's way overdue to give Tana her own show." Chance adds, "When we first started to envision the show, we realized that Tana is most likely the first female sports radio host to go solo in the Iowa market. That's very exciting, and we're happy to be a part of history."

"Tana's sexy and smart, and sports talk is not her forte." said Chance. "But just like Tana we're absolutely fine with that. We know our audience loves her. She brings her own brand of real, that's for sure, but beyond that, who knows what will happen? Tana really is approachable and guys love hanging out with her. She has an uncanny way of speaking to men about the issues they face in relationships, and Tana knows how to speak their language. KXnO is sports. For everything else - we've got Tana for that."

In 2005, Tana Goertz appeared in front of an international audience averaging over 14 million viewers across 18 episodes when Donald Trump's "The Apprentice" completed Season 3. Riding that wave of success, Tana later appeared on the hit reality show "Fear Factor", as a guest on "Late Night with Conan O'Brian" and as a main stay on late night television as a product spokesperson. All of that happened years ago, however, and Tana Goertz has no illusions.

"Fame can come and go like that." said Tana. "The pace of change today is lightning speed, and getting faster. Believe me - I understand you're only as good as your last game, so bring it on! I'm here right now to say, 'That was then. This is now. And let's see what happens.' Since 'The Apprentice' I have had a blast as a motivational speaker, promoting my books and just mixing it up with people at events all over the country. In many ways, I've been busier than ever, but it's time to take it up a notch." said Goertz.

"This show will be very interactive - calls, emails, tweets - you name it. And I don't have a filter! I just don't." said Tana. "If any of you have listened to 'Hey Tana' you know it's fun, it's genuine and it's real. Sometimes we get spicy, but it's always real."

"Hey Tana! Time" is sponsored by My People App, an innovative new mobile app soon to be officially launched and available on iTunes App Store and Google Play. The app is free to download and use and creates a new cloud based, crowd sourced social business network designed to empower and connect.
