CC Hires Cuadra as Director of Coast Guard Island Campus
ALAMEDA, Calif., Dec. 12— Columbia College is pleased to announce the hiring of Darla Cuadra as director of Columbia College-Coast Guard Island.
“Darla brings to this position a wealth of experience in higher education administration and has amassed an impressive track record,” said Dr. Gary Massey, dean for Adult Higher Education at Columbia College. “We are thrilled to welcome Darla to our team.”
Cuadra will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the campus, including class scheduling and student and faculty recruitment.
Prior to joining the college, Cuadra served as vice president for university services at Patten University in Oakland, Calif., where she provided oversight to several departments, including admissions, financial aid and residential life. Of note, student enrollments grew each year during her tenure. Cuadra also held various other positions at Patten University, including director of academic support services and academic dean.
Cuadra holds a bachelor’s in Christian education from Patten College, a master’s in higher education administration and a doctorate degree in leadership for higher education from Capella University.
