Three Lucky Fans Win Tickets Playing Iowa Corn Virtual Corn Toss
JOHNSTON, Iowa - December 12, 2013 - Iowa Corn virtual corn bag toss winners Ben Rickels and Jason Heilskov from North Liberty, IA; and Matt Rench from Ames, IA won tickets to the Iowa Corn Cy-Hawk Series men's basketball game on December 13 in Ames, IA.
As the top Iowa State point's leader at 189 points, Matt Rench won dinner for two at Applebee's in Ames on December 9 during the Court-Cyd Coaches Call-In Radio Show with Coach Hoiberg and Coach Fennelly.
Jason was the top Iowa point's leader with 187 points and he won dinner for two at Carlos O'Kelly's in Iowa City on December 11 during the 'Hawk Talk with Fran McCaffery show.
The winners and their guests had the opportunity to meet the coaches and both received an autographed basketball.
The Iowa Corn Promotion Board (ICPB), works to develop and defend markets, fund research, and provide education about corn and corn products. The Iowa Corn Growers Association (ICGA) is a membership organization lobbying on agricultural issues on behalf of its 7,500 farmer members. Both organizations work on the joint mission to create opportunities for long-term Iowa corn grower profitability.
The Iowa Corn CyHawk Series is part of a 4 year partnership with both Hawkeye Sports Properties and Cyclone Sports Properties. The promotion includes radio, television, internet, and on-site marketing. The campaign highlights the many uses for corn and its importance to Iowa- as everyday is Game Day for Iowa's farmers.
