New Officers for Keep Iowa Beautiful

Des Moines-Eight new board members and two new officers were elected to the Keep Iowa Beautiful Board of Trustees.

Chairman of the Board of Trustees is Mike Richardson. Mike is Vice President of Marketing at Casey's General Stores in Ankeny. "I am pleased to be part of an organization that is truly devoted to improving and maintaining the beauty of Iowa for our children, grandchildren, and the generations to come," said Chairman Richardson.

Richardson replaces Kevin Techau who has been nominated by President Obama as U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Iowa.

Elected Vice Chairman is Miriam Erickson Brown. Miriam is President and CEO of Anderson Erickson Dairy Company in Des Moines. "Working with Iowa communities, corporations and private citizens, Keep Iowa Beautiful is making Iowa the cleanest and most attractive state in the nation," said Vice Chairman Brown.

Other officers re-elected are Doug Shull as Treasurer and Tony Colosimo as Secretary.

The eight new Board of Trustees members are:

Jeff Badger, Market President of the US Bank in Marshalltown. He and his family live in Parkersburg.

Michael Chilton lives in Des Moines and is a salesman for Badowers men's clothing store.

Neal Coleman is an associate at the Nyemaster Goode law firm in Des Moines where he practices in the firm's business, finance and real estate department.

Kim Drautz is Executive Vice President of Stoney Creek Hospitality in Johnston.

Tom Hanafan was mayor of Council Bluffs and volunteers for many civic activities.

Barbara Lykins is Director of Community resources for the Iowa Farm Bureau Federation in West Des Moines.

Lorretta Sieman is President of LJS Consulting in Clive and former member of the West Des Moines City Council.

Ed Skinner is with the Skinner Law Office in Altoona.
