University of Northern Iowa Selling all National Ag-Based Lubricants Laboratory Testing Equipment on Online Auction

The University of Northern Iowa's National Ag-Based Lubricants Center ceased operations in 2014 after 22 years of activity due to the loss of federal funds. Established in 1991, the nonprofit, university-based research and testing facility dedicated to the advancement of bio-based lubricants successfully developed and licensed to market more than 30 products, ranging from multi-grade hydraulic fluids to niche-market greases to gear lubricants.

This center will now be going through a full liquidation sale that will be open to the public. Platinum Bid Auction Service is conducting an online sale of the remaining equipment. Bids are being accepted now through the end of the sale, March 18th at 6pm CST. Everything is selling as is, where is, (360 Westfield Ave., Tech 1, Level 3, Waterloo, IA 50701 ) and will be available for inspection Monday, March 17 from 9am-3pm and the day of the sale, Tuesday, March 18th from 10am-4pm.
