Fremont/Page County Corn Growers to Hold DOT Informational Meeting
JOHNSTON, Iowa - March 11, 2014 - The Fremont/Page County Corn Growers are hosting an informational meeting in conjunction with representatives of the Iowa Department of Transportation (DOT).
"We welcome area farmers and interested people to hear updates on rules and regulations specifically for agricultural vehicles and equipment," says Julie Robertson, President of Fremont/Page County Corn Growers.
The meeting will take place March 18, 2014 from 3 p.m. to 5p.m. at the Elks Lodge, 701 S. Fremont St., Shenandoah, Iowa.
"A DOT transportation officer will speak. We hope that all people who are interested will come and learn more about these important vehicle issues before the spring planting rush begins," says Robertson.
The public is welcome to attend this event that is sponsored by the Fremont/Page Corn Growers and the Iowa Corn Growers Association.
