She has attended and led Together Encountering Christ (TEC) Retreats. She is a four-year member of the cross-country and indoor and outdoor track and field teams, and she has worked as a chemistry tutor. After graduation, Spitzmueller will attend St. Catherine's University to work toward her master's in physician assistant studies.

The Outstanding Senior Male and Female Awards were presented during the university's Founder's Day April 1. Miles Dunna, son of Wokie Dunna of Saint Paul, Minn., received the Outstanding Male Award.
