Yo-Ho Tools Grant Awards Announced

Des Moines- Keep Iowa Beautiful and Iowa tool manufacturer Yeoman & Company have announced the awards for the Yo-Ho Tools for a More Beautiful Iowa grant program. This is the first year of the program for community groups and organizations to receive grants of up to $200 in Yo-Ho quality tools to assist volunteers in clean up and beautification projects in their communities.

"Governor Branstad has declared April as Keep Iowa Beautiful month and we are pleased to make these Yo-Ho Tools awards to 15 community projects," said Tom Yeoman, President & CEO of Monticello based Yeoman & Company. "Our partnership with Keep Iowa Beautiful will help improve the economic vitality and cultural climate of our Iowa communities."

"This partnership with Yo-Ho Tools shows the interest Iowa companies have in supporting KIB's efforts to build stronger communities and a cleaner more beautiful state," said Gerry Schnepf, Executive Director of KIB.
