MEDIA ALERT: Iowa Public Television Day at the Blank Park Zoo

Join us Saturday, June 14!

Johnston, Iowa - Join Iowa Public Television at the Blank Park Zoo in Des Moines on Saturday, June 14, for a day filled with fun! Pose for a picture with Curious George, hear a story from Dan Wardell, and walk with a wallaby or lounge with a llama. Children who are 12 or younger receive free admission for the day when Friends members present the coupon found on page 6 of the IPTV June Advance program guide.

Come early to enjoy our special Breakfast with the Beasts from 8-9 that morning. Tickets are free for children age 2 and younger and $15 for everyone age 2 and older. IPTV KIDS Club members receive a $2.50 discount per ticket.

During the kid-friendly breakfast you'll be able to meet Curious George before anyone else plus you'll be able to roam the zoo and meet the animals and may even see a few of them receive their breakfast.
