Columbia College-Lemoore to hold commencement May 21
LEMOORE, Calif., May 20 - Columbia College-Lemoore will recognize graduates at a commencement ceremony Wednesday, May 21, at 2 p.m. in the chapel at Naval Air Station Lemoore. Gary Oedewaldt, associate dean for Adult Higher Education, will confer the Columbia College degrees.
"We are pleased to honor our students' achievements," said Oedewaldt. "The road to higher education is not easy, and commencement is a fantastic opportunity for our students and their families to celebrate this milestone."
Other institutions taking part in this joint-institution ceremony include Brandman University, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and West Hills College Lemoore.
Columbia College-Lemoore was established in 2001 on Naval Air Station Lemoore. Today it continues to serve civilian and military adult learners in the area. Columbia College-Lemoore offers three associate, five bachelor's and an MBA degree program in-seat as well as 23 associate, bachelor's and master's degrees online.
