Team Up for Charity with the OneIA Challenge

Summer running community, OneIA, raises money for Iowa running stores and charities

AMES, Iowa (June 1, 2020) – With the cancelations of running events across the state, OneIA Challenge strives to unite runners and walkers alike. Over $500 has already been raised for local running stores and charities throughout the state. Adaptive Sports Iowa has partnered with OneIA Challenge to raise funds during these especially hard times.

“It was really important for OneIA Challenge to give back to our local running stores and charities. These stores and charities have supported athletes for years and we’re providing a way for runners to give back.” states Sean Gavigan, owner of OneIA and PrimeTime Timing. OneIA is a joint venture between PrimeTime Event & Race Management, LLC and Karmarush, LLC. Ten percent of every OneIA registration is donated to local running stores and charities throughout the state.

“We are pleased to partner with OneIA Challenge to help support Adaptive Sports Iowa,” states Chuck Long, CEO/Executive Director of the Iowa Sports Foundation. “All of our athletes in ASI participate for free in all of our programs and events.”

Adaptive Sports Iowa’s mission is to provide statewide leadership in the planning, promotion, education and organization of sports and recreation opportunities for Iowans with physical disabilities.

Anyone can give back to Iowa running stores and local charities by registering today for $60. Sign up at OneIA.run/ASI as an individual or get a team involved. Teams of 10 or more will receive $10 off registration. Registrants receive a branded hoodie and custom milestone patch. Don’t miss the opportunity to be a part of a community of runners pushing themselves and each other to train and give back all summer long. Challenge yourself, your friends, family and co-workers to #RunasOneIA!
