FULTON, Mo. (June 6, 2025) – Alyssa (Baker) Lankford of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, received the Young Alumni Achievement Award from Westminster College on April 12.

The Young Alumni Achievement Award recognizes alumni who demonstrate the Westminster mission through outstanding achievement early (within five to 15 years) in their chosen career and/or dedicated leadership and service to their community.

Lankford graduated from Westminster in 2014. She is an attorney at McAfee & Taft in Oklahoma City who served for two years as a federal judicial clerk to the Honorable Glenn T. Suddaby, then-chief judge of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of New York.

In 2019, Lankford graduated with distinction from the University of Oklahoma College of Law, where she served as the editor-in-chief of the American Indian Law Review, where she received multiple awards for academic excellence and was inducted into the National Order of Scribes.

Lankford gives back to her community through her involvement with the Innovative Board of the Children’s Health Foundation: a nonprofit organization that supports research, education and care of children in Oklahoma. The foundation’s mission is uniquely personal to Lankford, who is an adolescent bone cancer survivor.

At Westminster, Lankford majored in transnational studies and Spanish and was involved in numerous campus organizations.
