FULTON, Mo. (June 6, 2025) – Anne E. McIntosh Schneider of Jefferson City, Missouri, is the posthumous recipient of Westminster College’s Alumni Achievement Award. Her husband, Raymond Schneider, received the award on her behalf on April 12.

A member of Westminster’s Class of 1985, Schneider died on Aug. 24, 2024.

The Alumni Achievement Award honors alumni whose accomplishments reflect the Westminster mission and who have distinguished themselves through personal achievements, professional achievements and/or have made significant contributions to society.

Schneider showed true devotion to her alma mater throughout her lifetime, serving on Westminster’s Board of Trustees and chairing the Board’s Student Life and Academic Affairs committees. She was granted emeritus status in 2016.

As a Westminster student, Schneider majored in political science and participated in an exchange program with Durham University in Durham, England, as a Cranshaw Scholar. A proud member of the Epsilon Iota chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta, Schneider served as advisory board chair, facility corporation president and secretary.

Schneider attended law school at the University of Missouri, graduating with her juris doctorate in 1988. In 2002, she was appointed as counsel to the Antitrust Division for the Missouri Attorney General’s office, where she participated in several major national enforcement cases.

Schneider gave back to her community by being actively involved in a number of committees, associations and organizations, including in the First Presbyterian Church, Daughters of the American Revolution, Capital Region Board of Governors, Historic City of Jefferson, Jefferson City Council of the Arts, Mid-Missouri St. Andrews Society and Jefferson City Hands Together.
